In the true sense of sharing our many blessings with others, St. Thomas the Apostle Parish annually provides Thanksgiving dinner to over 150 needy families (approximately 750 people) from the Parishes of Holy Family, Our Lady Queen of All Saints, Sacred Heart, St. Kateri Tekawitha and St. Margaret. This year's drive officially begins Saturday, November 1.
Volunteers (both children and adults) are appreciated and needed to support this wonderful event! All activities are in the Parish Hall unless noted otherwise.

Even if you aren't sure whether you can make it, show up the day of any event! Everyone is welcome to participate. Children are especially encouraged to participate in the Sunday events. It's a great and easy way to demonstrate Catholic acts of charity!
Support the program in one of three ways:
Prepare a Thanksgiving food box with enough non-perishable food items to feed a family of two adults and four children. Items listed below have been well received. On November 8/9, November 15/16 and November 22/23 a drive-through drop-off will be available in the west circular driveway before/after each Mass to receive your food box. If you like, you may deliver it to the Parish Hall.Give a cash/check donation to purchase turkeys and fruits/vegetables to complete the Thanksgiving meal. Donations may be placed in the "Offerings for the Poor" boxes located in the Church. Or you may drop it in the offertory basket during Mass. Make checks payable to "St. Thomas the Apostle Parish" with a notation designating it for the Thanksgiving Parish Food Drive.
Pick up an orange flyer (placed throughout the Church) and return the purchased groceries to St. Thomas in regular grocery bags/sacks. All food donations must be received by Sunday, November 23 at 12:00 Noon.Needed food items:
