ENDOW is an acronym for Educating the Nature and Dignity of Women. It is a Catholic educational program that brings women together to discover their God-given dignity and to understand their role in humanizing and transforming society. Endow utilizes small study groups to cultivate faith, fellowship and formation. Participants read and study papal encyclicals, writings of the saints and Doctors of the Church and other official writings. Participation in this group requires a commitment to regularly attend the weekly sessions. Each participant is required to use a study guide. There is no homework unless one misses a session. All women of the parish are welcome to join St. Thomas the Apostle’s ENDOW. Currently two groups meet on Tuesdays: 9:00 AM in Room 6
Beginning Tuesday, September 30, the morning ENDOW group begins a study on the first 14 Rules of Ignation Discernment. The books used in this series are: The Discernment of Spirits and The Discernment of Spirits: A Reader's Guide, both by Rev. Timothy Gallagher.
