Thanksgiving Food Drive
In the true sense of sharing our many blessings with others, St. Thomas the Apostle Parish annually provides Thanksgiving dinner to over 150 needy families (over 750 people) from the parishes of Holy Family, Our Lady Queen of All Saints, Sacred Heart, St. Kateri Tekakwitha and St. Margaret.
2026 Thanksgiving Drive begins Saturday, October 31.

Christmas Drive
Each Christmas season, St. Thomas the Apostle Parish parishioners share generously with the needy families of our “adopted” Tucson parishes.
Christmas Giving Trees are located in the Narthex and at side exits. The trees are decorated with ornaments providing information on the needs of the person you may wish to help.If you do not feel up to selecting an ornament and shopping and bringing back a gift, you can support this program by making a donation to offset the cost of administrating the program and purchasing gifts that will not get returned.
2026 Christmas Drive begins Thursday, November 26.

Lenten Cross for Life
Each Lent, the St. Thomas the Apostle Walking with Moms in Need ministry sponsors its Lenten Cross for Life program in support of Reachout Women's Center, a non-profit pregnancy counseling center dedicated to helping pregnant women and new mothers in need.
The Cross for Life is staged in the Church narthex for two weeks, beginning the first Sunday of Lent. Parishioners take a little cross with suggested items in constant need and return the item with the cross attached...returning them within two weeks.
There are also self-addressed envelopes that may be used for monetary donations. These monies will be used for purchases of necessary items. Checks should be made payable to REACHOUT and placed in the collection basket or in the poor boxes in the Narthex.
Everyone is precious and needs love. In a merciful way, vulnerable newborn babies and mothers need people to reach out fo them; they need the hope that love alone provides.
