Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart;
and you will find rest for yourselves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.
This is Jesus' invitation to discipleship in Matthew 11:28-30.
Father Patrick M. Crino, Pastor
“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of
the Son, and of the holy Spirit, teaching them to
observe all that I have commanded you.”
Matthew 28:19-20
St. Thomas the Apostle Parish’s mission is to joyfully worship God and raise up Spirit-filled disciples.
Here, all can explore Catholicism and grow in faith. Through Pathway to Discipleship. Wherever you are in your faith, there is a place for you and an opportunity to serve at St. Thomas.
Through a dedicated overarching evangelization ministry, St. Thomas seeks to foster a culture of invitation throughout our Parish. It is a Holy Spirit-driven, 'seek the lost' mentality based on the simple premise:
How can I and others have a personal relationship with Jesus?
The core of spiritual life and growth is the worship that we give to
the Lord. This worship is the foundation of the Pathway to Discipleship. At St. Thomas the Apostle, there are many ways that we engage in worship. First and foremost is our participation in the Mass. However, we also have opportunities to worship the Lord in Adoration or XLT praise and worship. Our goal is to joyfully worship the Lord in all that we do.
For Catholics, God present in the Eucharist is the source and summit of our faith; He is our beginning and our end. And so throughout the Pathway, we worship and adore God for who He is and for His faithfulness, mercy, and kindness to us. As a disciple, we are called to worship the Lord in all we do — in our personal prayer and in how we live. Simply by living, participating, growing, and serving, we worship. But we’re also called to more; our God explicitly invites us to meet Him in the Mass and the Sacraments.
St. Thomas the Apostle exists to raise up Spirit-filled disciples.
Discipleship is a lifelong journey, and the Catholic Church contains a wealth of wisdom to help individuals grow as they travel their journey.

Discipleship is a lifelong journey. We can never exhaust all of the richness and beauty of life with Jesus through the Catholic Church. So as a parish, we deeply explore our faith and continue to make space to Grow in a variety of ways.
Grow provides a platform for us to continue to mature as a disciple through things like bible studies, Spirituality programs, CRHP, or our new Multiply Leadership Course. We are constantly adding new ways for you to grow in your Faith.
“I have given you a model to follow,
so that as I have done for you,
you should also do.”
John 13:15
I am not a Catholic. May I participate in Pathway to Discipleship?
Yes! All are welcome to join in any aspect of the Pathway where they feel comfortable. While we do recommend that you begin with Alpha if you’re just learning about the faith, engage in any area that appeals to you.
As a parishioner, how might I 'fit' in the Pathway to Discipleship?
All parishioners can 'fit' into any spot that works for them and their families. If attending or serving at Alpha isn’t practical right now, consider joining a Bible Study. Or attend a teaching series.
Must I approach things in a particular order?
No! The Holy Spirit works in our lives in uniquely individual ways. We encourage each person to pray about where God might want you to start, and then begin exploring the many and varied options available to you.
