Michelle Garmon

Michelle  was born and raised in Iowa. She graduated from Iowa State University in 2001 with a Bachelors Degree in Child and Family Studies.
She and her husband moved to Tucson Summer 2004. 

Nichelle's passion is early childhood education; she has16 years of experience working with children ages 2 - 6.  

She began working at St. Thomas Preschool in November 2004, where she taught pre-kindergarten. In December 2005 Michelle was appointed Director and since then has built a strong, successful and powerful early childhood program that is recognized in the Tucson community.

St. Thomas Preschool is a 5-star program that provides the highest quality early childhood education in Catholic teachings and a sense of community for Parish families. 

Michelle was a board member of the local SAzAEYC (South Arizona Association for the Education of Young Children) from 2009 - 2014, serving as Member-at-Large, Community Services and President. 

Michelle and her husband have a three year old daughter. In their spare time they enjoy being outdoors, swimming, watching baseball and spending time with friends.
